I was lucky enough to adopt my furry friend Rica from a dog pound here in southern Spain.
I happened to post a picture of her having a poo in the sea and this caught the attention of Alison who found it rather funny.
A while later, Alison got in touch with me to ask whether I would like to write a brief story of how I adopted Rica. Well I am not the best story teller so I answered quite a few questions she asked me and Alison was able to write the story on my behalf.
I think that she has done a very good job and I am grateful to her for telling my side to obtaining Rica, who happens to be a truly lovely dog even after being tied up outside for the first year or so of her life.
