For this months competition we asked the ARTIST of the beautiful watercolour painting below (which is also the prize!) to spend some time enjoying looking at each doggy photo that was sent in for our competition…….

This is an original Watercolour A4 size painting by our local artist Dawn.

You can find Dawn on ETSY DawnTalbotArt – she is extremely friendly and paints portraits of dogs and and other animals for people here in the U.K. and abroad.

It is a seriously difficult job to choose the winning photo. This particular photo was chosen by Dawn as she loved ‘the love of the outdoor life’ it presented. We never overlook any photo, we spend time admiring each and every photo (what a way to spend an afternoon!) – we talk about each photo, there are a lot of awwwwww’s and oooooh’s.
