REMEMBERING BEAUTIFUL BOY RONNIE!

Sweet boy RONNIE, today we remember you with love!

We celebrate the wonderful life that RONNIE was given due to Julie and her family adopting him.

RONNIE didn’t have a good life to begin with and was traumatised from his early experiences of this world. His life changed completely and probably became better than most due to the fact that Julie made sure every day RONNIE lived he had a wonderful day. I think we compensate for Rescue dogs and they live extraordinary loved lives when unconditional love comes their way!

First of all, we have to say what a gorgeous soulful expression RONNIE has in all his super gorgeous photos.

We asked Julie if she fell in love with Ronnie at first sight or did it take a while for her to bond with him. There is never any shame in taking time to fall in love with a new member of the family, however, Julie answered without having to think ‘ OMG yes we did! We had never seen a white Staffy before and his eyes, the first time we saw him he had such love in them. He came running over to us as if to say, please take me with you!’ – Which of course they did. It seems that Ronnie saw a family he loved at first sight and knew he had to make them love him too – it all worked out beautifully!

Ronnie couldn’t have been a happier doggy, realising very quickly that it was his turn to enjoy life, to be totally loved and to find stimulation in each day. He seemed to just be relieved to be with his new family and found he enjoyed being cuddled straight away.

We can see how very loved Ronnie was, he received as many cuddles as he wished for and so much love he could never doubt he was a truly adored family member.

Not only was RONNIE loved by all his humans, he also had the love of his Staffy sister called Buffy. They were the best of friends and life was wonderful.

Although he was wary of other dogs (apart from his adorable sister), RONNIE absolutely loved children. Julie’s daughter used to dress him up in her clothes whilst RONNIE was happy being the centre of her attention. He would also sleep on her pillow, play with her and even join in pretend tea Parties. Oh my goodness RONNIE, we adore this and have pictures in our minds of these fabulous days. They would both love to cuddle up together and watch T.V. They were inseparable!

We adore this photo, we adore all the photos of RONNIE but this one is just so beautiful such a content expression!

We love the quirky wonderful behaviours of some dogs and RONNIE had many! RONNIE loved anything that was pink and fluffy. His favourite toy was a pink doughnut called Doney. No one was ever allowed to touch Doney but RONNIE would enjoy showing it to everyone multiple times a day! It’s like, ‘look at what I’ve got, I’m so lucky but don’t touch it as it’s all mine!’ – Lol. We are giggling at this! He would refuse to go out in the snow and the rain but would be happy ‘to cook’ in the sunshine all day if he was allowed. Julie told us that if it was raining, he would look at her husband as if he had made it rain and then refuse to go out for his walkies.

There are things that still make Julie laugh when thinking about her beautiful boy. One of these was when RONNIE was looking out of the window from the sofa, then nodded off and then falling off the back of the sofa – he got right back up but looked a little confused and dazed, he was fine (nothing to look at here Mum!)

Seriously RONNIE, you have melted our hearts!

‘RON would never sit on the ground outside as it was too cold for his bum! He had the best dirty look I have every seen. The most important thing was the look in his eyes was pure love and he knew our eyes told him the same thing. He was our precious boy!’

Julie, we want to thank you so very much for allowing us to write for your super gorgeous boy. He was beautiful inside and out and we can see how much mutual love there was here.
