Gorgeous BEAR took time out of his very busy day to speak to us at HAPPY DOGGY NEWS! He told us that his life had been completely turned around by his ‘forever family’ with Mum Ashley! He spoke about life not being very nice before this but he can only appreciate his wonderful life now! He mentioned the first human he fell in love with was Ashley’s (his Mum’s) daughter, she showed him love and unconditional love and he told us he felt completely safe with her! With their love BEAR explained that he had become a confident, happy, and content doggy! He now describes himself as being well chilled and enjoys outbursts of absolute excitement!

‘Mum is always telling me she is so glad she made the choice to rehome me and I am a perfect little dude!’ – BEAR

THANK YOU SO MUCH BEAR!

We popped along for a chat with the amazing and inspirational little DOKES! DOKES made us feel so welcome and we could see how happy he is today! DOKES told us that his life before he was adopted was terrible. He did not want to go into details but we understood from this that life up until the age of SIX had been traumatic! Smiling, DOKES said he was adopted by his now Mum Margaret’s Mother in law! She was so lovely but she was unable to take care of him due to her illness and so he decided he would go to live with Margaret who he already loved so much! DOKES explained how adopting a dog can change your lives as well as the adopted dogs themselves! He said that his lovely Mum Margaret always says to her friends how adopting him was the best thing she had done, she always says that he has changed her life for the better and that she wouldn’t be without him!

THANK YOU SO MUCH DOKES!

SKYE was waiting for us at the door when we arrived! She offered us kisses and a biscuit and we felt very welcome from the moment we met!

SKYE was eager to explain to HAPPY DOGGY NEWS how amazing it is for both doggy and human to adopt! She told us how her life had been for the first 10 long years! – it wasn’t a nice story to hear! Then one day this beautiful lady came to see her called Jill, who is now her lovely Mum! She told us that when she first saw Jill she felt hope for the very first time! Jill made arrangements for her to leave Cyprus for the U.K. where she now lives with her other furry siblings! SKYE told us not to go anywhere as her siblings would probably be interested in chatting with us too! SKYE said she feels loved every day and her Mum calls her A Big Softy with a smile on her face, she said she wasn’t sure what this means but she knows she gets a hug every time so it must be great!

THANK YOU SO MUCH SKYE!

Sweet girl EDDY was having her snoozy time when we spoke to her via ZOOM! She was happy to chat with us as long as she could do both! EDDY decided that she wanted to keep her pre-lovely life story short – she explained that she was found in a bag and that her siblings had died! She also said that she would never have imagined that her life would ever be this wonderful and that her life had gone from the worst life to living the life of a PRINCESS! She says it’s so rewarding to adopt a dog and she wishes that everyone consider doing so!

EDDY looked so chilled, beautiful, and content! We love her little short legs which are so endearing. EDDY wanted to tell us how much she loved her Mum Liz and that she often overhears her saying that she totally deserved the best life!

THANK YOU SO MUCH EDDY!
