LIFE IS WONDERFUL FOR OLIVER – RESCUED AND LOVED!

Today we write a story about the gorgeous boy OLIVER!

Oh my goodness, when we first saw OLIVER’S Photo, we thought he was the cutest little guy ever! Now if you know us at HAPPY DOGGY NEWS you know that a little Doggy Overbite has us in Awwwwwws and OMG’S and OLIVER has the cutest!

We have been told that when OLIVER is happy both bottom teeth pop out, when he is feeling average, just the one shows itself and when he is moody, none of his teeth are on show! Oh OLIVER you are brilliant!

OLIVER was living in a DOG POUND in Cyprus and was desperately in need of a forever family and lots of love! We can’t imagine what this little guy thought about whilst being unwanted as he is so tiny, about the size of a Chihuahua, just a little bit longer! – Such a strong character! – Size has no meaning to OLIVER!

After traveling to the U.K. his new family, Gracey and Jonny were waiting for his arrival! OLIVER arrived in a crate and Gracey and Jonny were told not to let him out until they got home. We can just imagine how desperate they both must have been to give him a cuddle and show him he was about to experience a very different kind of life!

At home, there were other family members, CATS! Now, we have had to actually deal with this situation ourselves, our own JET THE ADMIN CHIHUAHUA FOR HAPPY DOGGY NEWS was a Rescue and it took time for our cat to accept him, but she did! This is exactly what happened here! It took a while but the cats, after only about 3-4 weeks got used to the idea they had a new energetic furry one in the house!

Gracey told us that OLIVER actually settled in immediately and that it felt like they had always had him! OLIVER obviously knew instinctively that there was a lot of love to be found here and openly accepted it with his beautiful heart!

O.K. THIS IS A LITTLE TIKTOK OF WONDERFUL OLIVER! YOU WILL BE IN LOVE, JUST TO WARN YOU BEFORE VIEWING! LOL!

Gracey admits that OLIVER is a spoilt doggy, but we call it making up for lost time, O.K. spoilt maybe, but certainly a life a doggy would dream of!

OLIVER loves so many things in his life! He loves his baths, which is great as so many little doggies don’t like the water! He loves being groomed after his bath or anytime really! Such a handsome boy!

Like a child, OLIVER enjoys the unconditional love of his human parents and also has the extended love of his wonderful Nanma (Jonny’s Mum). Nanma also has her own two rescue doggies which were saved by the same wonderful Rescue as OLIVER. The doggies here are LUNA and NINA. LUNA is a fabulously crazy Labrador and NINA is a three-legged gorgeous type of Pomeranian. Let’s just tell you a little about NINA while we are here… she was involved in an accident in Cyprus and had to have her leg amputated. Three legs do not stop this little girl from doing anything and she outruns both LUNA and OLIVER! You go, girl! Fabulous NINA! We thought you would love a photo of her too……..

ARRIVED IN THE U.K. THERE WOULD BE NO STOPPING THIS BEAUTIFUL GIRL FROM ENJOYING LIFE TO THE FULL!

GREAT FRIENDS WITH NANMA’S RESCUE DOGGY LUNA!

A Beach boy, OLIVER adores his sandy walks. Like most Rescue dogs, some anxieties remain. But stresses in life can also be worked around and for OLIVER he becomes stressed around other doggies that he doesn’t know. This presents as Bossy Behaviour towards the other dogs (OLIVER, you are a darling!). So problem solved, OLIVER has his walks at night and enjoys one of the nicest times of the day!

The next step for OLIVER was to get used to the adorable new puppy in the family, called LINCOLN. The photos speak for themselves – just a few weeks later they even sleep together in the wonderful COSY CORNER created especially for them both!

OLIVER AND LINCOLN YOU ARE BOTH SO CUTE!

OLIVER gets to choose whether he wants to sleep on the sofa or the bottom of Mum and Dad’s bed! – Yes he is totally adored!

OLIVER loves his toys! Every toy is his favourite, he is very protective of them all but is always so grateful and excited to receive a new one! We love the fact you are play fighting your new brother with toys OLIVER, this is wonderful to see!

Chasing ducks is another hobby of OLIVER’S and Gracey suspects it’s because he had never seen one before in Cyprus. He also is a sun worshiper and follows the sun around the garden as it moves over the course of the day! However, the rain is not a favourite, and OLIVER, just like our own doggy here at HAPPY DOGGY NEWS will not take himself out to the toilet until the rain stops! We get it OLIVER, we get it! You would totally fit into our family here too!

We asked Gracey, how OLIVER had changed her life and she told us……. ‘ Oliver has made our life full! Without him in our lives I don’t think we would feel complete! As soon as we saw him, we knew he was made for us! I got together with my partner in 2017 and he was born in 2017, kind of makes us feel as one!
