WITH LOVE WE REMEMBER SADIE AND HARLEY!
Today we are Remembering with love in our hearts TWO beautiful souls!
Beautiful SADIE earned her Angel Wings six years ago now and so is an experienced Rainbow Bridge Doggy!
HARLEY has just recently received his well deserved Angel Wings and has just begun his new adventures over the Rainbow Bridge!
We have no doubt that SADIE was waiting there, energised and so happy to have HARLEY with her again!
They are both now sharing their love and teachings with all the other beautiful doggy’s who have left this Earth!
This is a tribute to both SADIE and HARLEY and is a WONDERFUL CELEBRATION OF THEIR GORGEOUS LIVES!
We had the pleasure of speaking to Mum Dawn and her daughter Chelsey – they told us about their beautiful furry family members!
SADIE was a rescue doggy who’s good fortune became immediate when spotted by Dawn’s daughter Chelsey. Chelsey told us ‘I remember being a little girl at the dog shelter and finding Sadie sat in her little kennel on her own, I knew from that moment that she was meant to be ours! I couldn’t have asked for a better dog to grow up with!’
From that moment on, SADIE’s life would be full of love and adventure! She was six months old and so whatever experiences she had had in the past, there was plenty of time to show her how unconditionally loved a doggy can be!
Dawn told us – ‘I bought my beautiful SADIE when she was 6 months old from a dog shelter, she was very friendly and loved cuddles, she was a very loyal dog, she loved playing ball in the garden, she came on all our caravan holidays and she loved the beach so much, she would dig holes in the sand and then role in them, she was my best friend till the very end!’
Although loving rolling around in the sand and having her paddles in the sea herself, SADIE would cry if her humans entered the sea, she wanted then to get out and come back to being with her! We think SADIE was in her own mind, Mum to everyone! – beautiful girl!
HARLEY was a lucky boy who was given his forever home from a little pup at just 8 weeks old! As soon as he arrived, SADIE fell in love with him, she followed him everywhere, making sure he was protected as he went along his busy puppy way! Their bond was inseparable and instant!
HARLEY as you can see by his adorable photos was quite different from SADIE! HARLEY was a little guy, full of mischief with the sweetest furry face to match! He was always super busy chasing around, chasing flies, chasing laser pens, anything he could!
HARLEY also loved nothing more than to chill out on top of SADIE! – Most comfortable cushion he could find! SADIE had no problems with HARLEY in this position and the two of them spent a lot of relaxing time just like this!
When SADIE had to leave this Earth, HARLEY took it very hard…… He had spent all his life with this beautiful girl who had taken over as his Mum!
Life does go on and HARLEY had plenty more years ahead of him to live, to live with gusto, with love and cheekiness!
HARLEY loved his caravan holidays! He would be excited for everything they offered him – he loved going down to the river and chasing the pebbles Dawn threw in for him. He literally would submerge his whole little furry head in the water trying to find them. When he did find them, his little face bobbed up delighted and if you can imagine was even cuter as his little teeth were missing as he grew older!
This really is such an uplifting Remembering story! It is one of two very different doggy’s who shared the same adventures and created the most strongest of bonds!
It is a story of two dogs who were given the opportunity to lead the best lives they could. Loved each day and shown how life is easy to embrace when you are surrounded by those who adore you!
Have fun HARLEY, your next adventure has just begun! SADIE will show you the way until you find your feet!
Both my babies are running wild in doggy heaven and I’m so glad they have got each other to play with again!

They were the best dogs I could have wished for and I am so glad that we got to give them the happiest life! When Sadie passed, she took a piece of our hearts with her & then when Harley passed 6 years later it destroyed us all over again. We take comfort in the fact that the two best friends are back together again. They will forever be in out hearts!
