SO PROUD OF RESCUE BOY BUDDY!

We spoke again to Pat who was heartbroken after losing CHLOE but we wanted to let you know about how she still carries on giving Doggy’s a chance in this World!

BUDDY is the gorgeous doggy who’s whole life changed for the greater when PAT met him! It was three years after losing CHLOE that PAT decided she could love another doggy!

BUDDY was Rescued in MARCH just last year 2021!

BUDDY, you are such a fabulous, cheeky, energetic, wonderful boy!

PAT WRITES ……..

‘Chloe was a hard act to follow, but after fully babysitting a friend’s beautiful cat for two years while she was getting her life back together, I felt the loneliness when I was able to return him to my friend’s new home. I knew it was time to look for a new dog to love!

I was determined to get a small dog, no puppy, but not too old!

After checking many shelters, I got a call from a friend’s sister who worked at a shelter. They have a dog that needs a home. I went with my daughter-in-law & granddaughters to see him. He was the complete opposite of everything I was looking for, so of course we all fell in love. Buddy’s 45 lbs., only two years old & completely rambunctious!

THIS FACE THAT WOULD MELT ANYONE’S HEART! – YOU CERTAINLY HAVE MELTED OURS BUDDY!

He was kept largely in a kennel cage, not very socialized, & hyper!

It has been a journey of home training, assorted trainers, expulsion from daycare for aggression, etc. We are now, over a year later, at a point where he can play in the yard with my son’s two dogs, has no accidents in the house, knows & follows commands.

He is part Border Collie, so we cannot stop him from herding the grandkids while they play in the yard, but I’m working on it. He is also the most snuggly, sweet, & kind dog you could ask for. I’m still working on walking on leash, he’s a puller!

Given time, we’ll get there!’

You are one of life’s true passionate spirits! Your Mum came to your Rescue but we also love the fact that you keep her on her toe’s every single day! A ball of energy and love, you are here to teach us human’s how to embrace the life we have and for that we THANK YOU!

PAT you have chosen the most wonderful boy ever! We would love to add updates to BUDDY’S story here!

We are giggling at the thought of BUDDY rounding up the Grandchildren! Instinct, innate behaviour have all created this fabulous need to keep everyone together in a herd! – BRILLIANT!
