FINDING DASANI – RESCUED GIRL WAS LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT!

This is the very sweet story about wonderful and beautiful girl DASANI!

Dawn has been sending us photo’s of BEAUTIFUL girl DASANI to publish on our Facebook Page for a couple of years now and of course we have fallen in love with her! However, we never realised DASANI didn’t find her ‘forever home’ until she was six months old! DASANI had been treated well but needed a new home!

Anyway, it was Dawn’s daughter who happened to see a post that the DOGGY CHARITY ‘PAW SAFE ANIMAL RESCUE’ had put out. They are an amazing Rescue centre in Connecticut, U.S.A and you can find them here……. https://pawsafe.org/ Please take a look at all the work they do, they are quite incredible!

The post was advertising an ADOPTION DAY for their Rescue Doggy’s. Dawn and her daughter couldn’t say no to checking out the doggy’s!

In two minds if she could love another dog – Dawn had loved and lost her soulmate GIBBS – she felt another doggy in her life would be like a betrayal to GIBBS! Does this sound familiar to other’s? We believe this to be one of the most common obstacles of rescuing a doggy after loving one before!

At the adoption day, DASANI was one of three remaining dogs left. This sweet girl knew how to win the ladies over! DASANI went straight up to Dawn’s daughter and it was at this moment they fell in love with her! Well done DASANI you have both brains and beauty!

DASANI and Dawn’s bond is extremely strong and they both live life to the full together! The photos below really need no words of their love!

DASANI is such a gentle natured girl…….

she loves a little dressing up and takes it all in her stride!

DASANI loves going out for car rides, so she hops aboard whenever Dawn pops out!

Although she is waiting to pass her Doggy Driving Test!

Chewing bones is a favourite past time and you can see how content she is in the photo below!

Happily chewing away for hours!

DASANI loves her walks and has lots of wonderful energy to use up!

Dawn loves walking too and so we have a match made in heaven here!

THIS IS SUCH A LOVELY UPLIFTING STORY!

We have just also found out how DASANI came about her lovely name! DAWN told us ‘Dasani is named after Dasani bottled water. The water were she was living became contaminated so her foster mom gave her Dasani water the entire time. She decided to name her Dasani. I loved her unique name and the story behind it, she I kept her name!’
