Today we are writing about fabulous PINI.
This gorgeous boy is a TRUE WARRIOR!
He has endured so much but has somehow managed to survive and now lives a very happy, loved life with his human Amelia.
Amelia had lost her beautiful Staffie Rescue in January 2021, his name was Sunny and we hope to write a lovely remembering story for him! (will be asking Amelia if this is possible!)
Amelia obviously had a big void in her life from the loss of Sunny but was not intentionally looking for another doggy!
However, it was a desperate post that caught her eyes! This post stopped her in her tracks and showed a photo of an 8 year old Polish rescue doggy. This was the super gorgeous PINI – this sweet boy had endured his life on the streets being abused. He had been adopted by an English lady who also wasn’t good to him and decided she didn’t want him either!
It was time for this beautiful boy to reap love and kindness from the world. We are so so happy to be writing about the wonderful life he leads now!
After seeing his photo Amelia knew she was ready for another dog and PINI was the one for her!
Amelia told us ‘ PINI came to his new life and home with me. To say he was a nervous little boy would be a major understatement! However, with a lot of patience, love and positive reinforcement he is improving!’
PINI now has a fabulous life but everyday he still works on his triggers. He is learning to adapt to loud noises from traffic or any noise that takes him by surprise. Well done PINI you are AMAZING!
Now Amelia was assured that PINI was fine around cats – WELL !! – Bless PINI, he isn’t good with cats and Amelia has now had to pop stairgates all around her house in order to keep the cats and PINI at bay from each other! That’s love for you!
PINI has had lots of visits to the vets in order to get his health better. With his visits and antibiotics his health is getting better and better. He will have to have some serious dentistry at some point but we know this little guy is so strong!
PINI absolutely loves his toys, especially his squeaky ones! Awwww PINI, this is so cute!
He also walks nicely on the lead and loves his trips to the park!
PINI totally loves Amelia and she says that PINI in return has filled a great void in her life and she loves him very much!
PINI also loves Amelia’s son. When he visits, PINI gets so very excited – his little tail waggs away and it actually looks like he is smiling! (We know what you mean, our Chihuahua smiles – it’s to do with their eyes smiling too!)
PINI has now settled in his fabulous forever home. Amelia told us ‘despite PINI’S troubles, he settled here in the home with me amazingly quickly, about 2 to 3 weeks. He likes to take over the sofa and sprawl out with his belly exposed for a nice chest and belly rub which is a definate sign he trusts me!’ (this is absolutely correct, we wrote a post about doggy’s trust with humans and when they expose their bellys)!
Amelia would like to thank from the bottom of her heart the PDSA as they treated PINI with such care and helped ease his pain and discomfort. You can contact them here https://www.pdsa.org.uk/
She would also like to thank her wonderful Vet.
WOW! PINI you are a serious trooper darling. We have totally fallen in love with you! Keep teaching the World how it is possible to overcome terrible pasts! You are an inspiration!
