RESCUE BOY TAZ AND HIS WONDERFUL LIFE TODAY!

This is a lovely story of how the wonderful TAZ was rescued as a puppy but got lucky at such a young age that he has had almost most of his life being totally great with Susan and her family.

TAZ was the largest of the five puppies that needed rescuing. Susan had lost her gorgeous doggy SAM (who’s lovely story you can read here …… https://happydoggynews.com/2022/01/18/remembering-your-angel-doggys-inspirational-sam/ ) in the July and Susan says ‘ the house was so empty without a dog – I knew straight away he was the one!)

So…… TAZ found his forever home and is now a fabulously young looking almost ten year old gentledoggy!

This cheeky boy has always been a wonderful mischieveous one! – He use to pinch Susan’s daughter Nicola’s Teddy Bear, eat her slippers and even eat his way through the enclosure of her trampoline!

Oh my goodness TAZ, we love you!

When TAZ first arrived at his forever home, he would not settle at night in his crate – so after a while of being house trained he was allowed to get comfy and sleep and the sofa. However, that didn’t last long!!!! TAZ worked his way at night upstairs to the floor of the bedroom where he slept for a while – we are loving where this is going ……… and now as you may have guessed, this wonderful boy is loving night time in Susan’s bed!

AND EVENTUALLY IN THE BED – THE PLAN HAD WORKED!

Cheeky boy TAZ has enjoyed eating the remote control, more slippers and even had a try at the cupboard door as this is where he knows his treats are kept!

When Susan’s granddaughter came along, it was the first time that TAZ had met a baby. Their close bond became inseparable and each love each other to pieces! TAZ was very protective over her granddaughter and vice versa – ‘Partner’s In Crime’! TAZ would lie on the sofa guarding her when she was asleep! TAZ has now made the same wonderful bond with Susan’s second granddaughter!

This handsome boy loves to sunbathe in his garden. He doesn’t like water so the paddling pool is used instead of a bath – sounds perfect to us!

TAZ has a zest for life and also enjoys Christmas and opening his gifts!

Not that impressed with his Christmas Antlers but as it was Nichola who popped them on him, he was a Sport!

He also totally adores going on Holiday and walking along the beach. Strangely for a doggy who doesn’t like his baths, he has a fondness for the sea. It was on one particular holiday when he felt left out, other dogs were playing in the sea and so he joined them!

Some people who see this lovely boy walking along the street are cautious and walk on the other side – however, Susan said he would only ever ‘lick you to death’! We also know how wonderful Staffy’s are, we have had one beautiful girl in the family called Poppy and she was the best dog you could ever have!
