SOPHIE RAISES FUNDS FOR DOG CHARITIES – we love what she does!

This is the story of one lady who wasn’t intending on becoming a fundraiser for doggy Charities!

She did however always love dogs and her own doggy HARLEY can be seen in the photo’s below!

HARLEY a picture of health today!

This gorgeous girl was rescued by Sophie. Her life turned around completely at the age of ten months. Before this time, HARLEY had been neglected and had sadly only known life in a cage in a home, alone all day.

When HARLEY first arrived in her ‘forever home’ with Sophie, she hadn’t any socialising skills with dogs or people – but with patience and lots of love we can fast forward a year – HARLEY is now a very happy, healthy and playful doggy who enjoys life to the full! She can now socialise and loves being with dogs and people alike!

It was when HARLEY was injured that life changed for Sophie too! HARLEY cut her artery and tendon in her leg at the park and needed emergency surgery (the photo shows HARLEY after her operation)!

I think we have all experienced a time when our insurance hasn’t been able to cover our costs of our vet treatments. This was the case for Sophie – so she decided to create a fundraiser in order to help her with her own costs. This was the Eureka moment!

Sophie found that people can be extremely kind and want to help doggy charities and fundraisers. So this got her started……. after HARLEY recovered she decided to fund raise for other doggy’s who needed help!

Today she holds wonderful shows for doggy’s where they can win Rosette’s – oh my goodness, the photos below are just so gorgeous! Have a look through the slideshow to see just some of the doggy’s with their Rosette’s!

We can’t stop looking at these adorable photo’s – We can see many proud furry faces with their Rosette’s!

Because of Sophie’s dedication, hard work and creativity she has been able to raise over £3000 to date for charities such as GREYHOUND TRUST, CANINE CANCER RESEARCH, K9FOCUS, NORTH DEVON ANIMAL AMBULANCE AND BLUE CROSS.

We love stories like Sophie’s. We are so impressed by her fundraising that we had to tell her story!
