REMEMBERING YOUR ANGEL DOGGY’s – DAISY
DAISY enjoying her well deserved cuddles! – so so cute!
This post is to remember a beautiful little girl doggy called DAISY. It is a celebration of her wonderful life from the moment she met Sara.
Sara has the fabulous job of VET NURSE and comes across hundreds of our furry family members. It was one of her clients that came in with one of her dogs from her puppy farm. This little girl was seven years old and had obviously had several litters herself over the seven years. DAISY was taken to the vets as she was poorly and it was discovered that she had a pyometra, which is a very serious womb infection.
DAISY was operated on and then followed with an emergency spay. She recovered with speed thankfully.
Now, Sara by this time had fallen for this beautiful girl and the owner asked her if she would like to give DAISY a new forever home for retirement. There was no hesitation here and Sara instantly said yes and that was the beginning of a new life for DAISY.
We know that a lot of doggy’s who have been living a life in a puppy farm have difficulties with nervousness (my sister recently adopted two little girls from a puppy farm and they both display this behaviour but are getting more and more brave!)
At first nervous and sensitive, it wasn’t too long before DAISY was indeed the BOSS! She began to realise she was safe and loved and became so confident that she would put even the Rottweilers in their place! (Oh DAISY we are just imagining this with smiles)!

So DAISY became a wonderful Diva and was very happy about telling Sara her wishes by barking sweetly until she was picked up or put on the bed or whatever DAISY desired. (This reminds us of our own rescue boy JET – he is spoilt )!
Life had become so sweet for DAISY! As she aged however, she became blind and delivered heart disease. Medication saved DAISY for a further three years. She was at the good mature age of 14.
It was only a few days ago that DAISY earnt her fabulous ANGEL WINGS and took her journey over the RAINBOW BRIDGE.
She will be loved still every day and there will not be a day when Sara doesn’t think about her beautiful girl!
Sara has the ashes with her and the memories that will never cease to exist.
