This is Biggles!

BIGGLES got very lucky when adopted by Charlotte and her family.

From a very bad life before it took a lot of love and TLC to get Biggles to trust enough to accept love !

It was when he was five months old that he arrived at his forever home. Here he would have another adopted sibling called POPPY (you can read her story on our page too !) Poppy was older and decided that she would ‘mother’ him immediately. It was as if she knew he needed looking after by another doggy as well as humans.

Over time Biggles realised that he could trust and be loved – he enjoyed cuddles with his human Mum being rocked to sleep.

Biggles suffered from epilepsy and a heart condition. He also lost the sight in one of his eyes, but this didn’t stop him one little bit. Biggles loved his garden and would run around as if he were always a puppy. It was just wonderful to see the change in this sweet boy.

Anyone who sat on the floor would be sat on by Biggles! – he assumed that this was always the lap and cuddle call !

Not all dogs howl, but he was a big howler. He loved, loved his food and would howl for several hours before dinner time in anticipation.

Biggles was a massive character who everyone adored. His love of people and life is an inspiration !
