GIZMO, FREDDIE and PEPPA’S STORY

We have put GIZMO, FREDDIE and PEPPA’S story altogether as these beautiful little guys are all part of the same family. In fact they are family too to ZOOKIE and LULU and CHARLEY (see other stories ) ! Yes ! the wonderful Karen and Mick have six little furry guys, some of which have been ‘foster fails’ (fostered but adopted as the love grew too deep’) !

GIZMO came to be in Karen and Mick’s lives after a walk in the park. They were chatting and found that his owner needed to rehome him. At that point they had never owned a Chihuahua before. Little did they know this would become a marvellous obsession with them ! They now have 5 Chihuahaus and Peppa a Schnauzer who actually thinks she is a Chihuahua too !

Freddie came to live with the gang because his former owner had a larger dog (Freddie being a little guy Chiahuahua). The larger dog unfortunately attacked little Freddie and Freddie had several injuries.

He recovered physically in full, however he does still have a few issues such as IBS a hatred of classical music !

However, he is actually the calmest of the Chihuahuas in the family – he loves nothing better than eating and sleeping. Although a big snorer when asleep !

PEPPA was taken into the home of Karen and Mick as a foster doggy. She was collected and they thought they were only going to keep her until a new home was found for her.

Yes, you have guessed it ! Foster Fail ! – they ended up loving her too much to give her up.

She is actually a former breeding dog and has wonderfully taken on the role of matriarch to the miniature Mexican army or ‘The Crazy Gang’ ad they are known.
