This is an incredible story of PIPPA and her son FAELAN.
Pippa was a street dog in Ireland. She was found by the wonderful ISPCA (U.K. equivilent to R.S.P.C.A.).
She was pregnant at the time and gave birth to five puppies, 4 boys and 1 girl. All puppies survived but Mum and pups had to find a way to be homed from here. Pippa was on her final day before she was about to be euthanized – amazingly HAPPY ENDINGS RESCUE came along and took Pippa and her pups on – there mission to be able to home these wonderful furry babies and Mum.
All the puppies were very lucky and were all rehomed thanks to the wonderful HAPPY ENDINGS RESCUE.
Wendy and Chris took on one of the pups and called him Faelan. Mum Pippa was finding it more difficult to find her forever home so a little later Wendy and Chris decided they would take her too ! Mum and Pup could stay together !
Pippa was a beautiful doggy, full of love even though she had had a terrible life before. With extra care and support she became a loved family member. She lived many happy years in her forever home until she was 14 (guessed age).
She went from a street doggy to a doggy who loved nothing more than to be a ‘lapdog’, all 22kg of her !
Faelan was very young when he went to his forever home and so never had any trauma like his Mum had experienced. He was Wendy and Chris’ first ever doggy and they learnt an enormous lot from this gorgeous boy.
Faelan has tiny legs for a full sized Collie because he didn’t grow properly in his mums womb – however, he is extra cute because of this we think ! These little legs never stop him and he loves life to the absolute full.
Faelan in Gaelic means Little Wolf.
Wendy and Chris have since found 2 of Pippas puppies and are planning to meeting their owners this year !
Wow, a beautiful story, thank you so much !
